Widgey nursing pillows are extremely versatile and give great support to both you and your baby when feeding, sleeping, reading, relaxing and playing. The pillow is strong and firm and gives the appropriate support to your baby, particularly their back, whilst feeding. As well as a feeding cushion it has a variety of other uses. It provides pre-natal back support for you and support for your stomach and between-the-knees whilst sleeping, or as a wedge to rest under your tummy when lying on your side. After a caesarean the pillow removes all weight from the stomach area to the thighs and combined with underarm feeding is recommended by midwives. As your baby grows and develops, you can sit him within the curve of the Widgey whilst he’s learning to sit upright – if he falls sideways or backwards the pillow will cushion the fall.
